TomTom 6.02 update no longer on Support site... new version due?

7 replies · 4,791 views · Started 10 August 2007

Im assuming they would have some sort of notice up saying they no longer supported xx devices.

Then again, if it was an update you would expect to see some sort of annoucement about a new version before they take the old stuff down.

Dont spose anyone on here has contacts within tomtom?

Edit:

Is this not it?

Thats what I expected to see but could not find it. Is it there now?

Edit: Yes it's there now. Was not visible 15 minutes ago. Oh well, that's a short thread on AAS!

Yep, just clicked on your link and scrolled down, just gone halfway down the page.

Edit: you had me going there, in that there could be hope!

I would imagine they are going to be releasing TomTom Nav 7 thats why there has not been an update for a while. If you look at the GO serious, they have moved to the 20 range instead of the 10's and these have a new software version of TomTom, re-designed software with new features and I assume these will be included in Nav 7.

You dont know how long ago they had the 20's out do you?

I heard on another forum the gap was generally a month, although that doesnt really mean much.

Yes the 20's have been out about a month now. But from past experience TomTom always upgrade the GO's first before anything else. Probably because thats what generates them the most profit
