As a previous N80 owner the N95 battery is waaaay better. But i am all for improvements. The N80 was better than the 6630 before it. Which used to be lucky to last into the next day.
If you have hardly any usage and battery is bad check to see if battery isnt a dud. It happens.

not really mate i got my one for free on upgrade not 500 quid!!!!
but iam still peed off with the battery
~
my point was that nokia sell this phone for 500 pounds ie the rrp is 500 pounds and with a battery this poor that is very very bad
hope you understand this time
have you changed the settings to stop permanantly scanning for 3g signals. once i did this my batt life wen to around 4 days

if it was the music player that would be terrible mp3 players go for hours ie 8 hours minimum with smaller batterys
i doubt its the music player
n73 can play music all day and have lots of juice left
2--3 days use
what on 1 charge???????
do you use it much mate???
if so what for???

how much battery use do you get from this usage mate???
thanks
more people should email nokia and complain
where did you get that from. and are you sure it aint gonna cause a meltdown in your fone?
bit warey about them batteries. i got one from ebay and the thing never tell you when it is charged. keeps going on and on and on for about 4 hours before i get fed up and turn it off. back using the oe one now
if i was doing that then i would be fecked half way through the day prob.
by the way have you seen the pic of the "n97" floating around. do you think it is real. wonder if they gonna sort battery issues out on the next models

ebay
no iam not sure it will blow up but ive used other batterys in the years and they were fine as have my friends and family
got it from ebay
type into search bar
n95 1350mah
youll find it
that use was off 1st charge so itll probs get beter as well
as i say due to it being 1350mah its a bit bigger then other 950mah battery but it looks ok as they provide a new plum case to cover it
in my opinion its better then carrying a spare
i was quite impressed with it
nice1
what version of maps are you using. i thing this new version uses more battery juice than the original one!
i have think its a fake but hope not there are pics of the n81 which is n80 upgrade looks cool
and n82 which is n73 upgade with wifi and 5mp with xenon flash which looks even better
niiiiiiiicccccccccccceeeeeeeeee
hope it has the same sort of great battery life as n73 😊
where have you seen these phones. would love a look!!!!

I'm up for trying this battery
Do you have any pictures of how much bigger it is and how much it sticks out compared with original
I know it could melt the phone, but it's a risk i'm willing to take.
Has anyones phone actually melted?
superswede wrote:How good/bad is your 3G coverage?
If dual mode is enabled and you have som bad 3G coverage this can significantly decrease battery life.
Absolutely. I left my office with almost a full charge at 17.30 yesterday for my parents village with no reception and got the first "battery low" bleep around 10pm.

type into ask jeeves
nokia n95 1400mah
youll find a link from nokia blog right near the top of the page 😊
hope that helps
today i left home with full charge at 9.00am ive been listening to my mp3 player non stop at full volume sent sum mms txtx ,had half hours of calls, 5 mins wap, few 3gp funny clips ,few normal txtx ,no wifi or gps but took a few pics
its now roughly 2.40 and i still have 4 bars left and still listening to the mp3s 😊
so thats roughly 5-6 hours non stop music with some other good use and still going 😊
my normal n95 battery would have been dead at least 1-2 hours ago so was worth the 14 quid in my eyes 😊 infact i might by another backup 1 😊 well impressed
hope that helps mate
it actually has a big advantage though
you see that angled side in the pic well the phone now stands up at an angle on its side which is perfect for watching films etc 😊 phone wouldnt stand on any side before which was annoying 😊 can now just balance it on my dsk at wrk and watch the simpsons while i work sweeeeeet 😊
also it looks big in this pic but it feels nice in your hand still 😊 iam happy anyways lol my n95 makes it through the day yey 😊
it would have to be quite big to get 1400mah in there
nokia just redesigned the back of the us n95 as they couldnt even get a 1200mah in the back of the normal nokia n95 so guess if you want a bigger battery youll have to do with the bulk
i actually bought a 1200mah battery from ebay the same size as original n95 battery but it wasnt great makes me think its just hard very hard maybe impossible to make a bigger battery to fit the n95s whole unless you have an extended one that pokes out like this
its really no different from lugging a spare around
nice1
i believe from my tests that the 1200mah one i bought from ebay is actually a 900mah--1000mah one in disguise
ie good labelling 😊
either that or rubbish cells
this 1400mah one is working good 😊
still got 4 bars and just done another half hours music 😊
lol
Yoobao, the name you can trust 😊
bartmanekul wrote:Yoobao, the name you can trust 😊
lol
so whats the cheapest i can get one of these with delivery
and where from??

Has anyone seen an E90 battery (1200) in comparision to an N95 battery (900 I beleive)? Online at least, they look roughly the same size, but I dont know about 'in the flesh' as it were.
E90 battery = 6.5 x 4.4 x 0.5 cm; N95 battery = 4.5 x 3.9 x 0.5
So E90 battery = 14.3 cubic cm; N95's = 8.8 cubic cm.
E90 battery (BP-5L) = 104 mAh per cubic cm
N95 battery (BL-5F) = 108 mAh per cubic cm
Sorry for the delay in replying, I couldn't find my ruler.
Wasnt expecting such a precise reply, but thanks. I was obviously wrong, online things can look very different.
...and Yoobao's product:
4.6 x 4 x 1 = 18.4 cubic cm, 76 mAh per cubic cm (assuming it's labelled correctly)
I know where I'm spending my money.
so youre saying that the original has more mah per cm but the extended one has a more cm so it obvously has more punch then the normal one
if they were the same size yes the nokia one would win as it has more ,prob better cells in the same space but this batery is bigger then the n95s so it will contain more juice
anyways buy which one you want keep changing your battery every 4-5 hours if you want
me personally i actually like using the features of this phone without having to worry if iam going to be near a charger if ive got my spare battery etc
in you results are you trying to say that the n95 batterys is the best???
how can that be???
we have all used them and 90 percent of people agree
there useless
i wish people would stop denying it it really cracks me up when people say it aint that bad etc it really is that bad
hence why ive spent money and time trying to improove my battery this is easily the best soloution ive found
without carrying poxy batterys and chargers about with me
iam not having a pop just wrks thats all does it matter what brand it is??
as long as it works thats fine for me
peace out everyone
heres hoping nokia release a new genuine battery course it would be better but i really cant see it happending after the us version had a re design to acomadate the better battery still we can keep wishing but untill that day iam happy with this extended tingy mabob
