How do i enter the SP lock code?

Okay, so i managed to get the SP lock code from vodafone but they have only sent me the 15 digit number and very vague instructions.

Could someone tell me how i enter the code?

Are you sure they didn't give you a PUK code? (Code used to unblock your SIM if you press the SIM PIN in wrong more than X times).

PUK codes are only 8 digits long.

SP unlock code should come in a format like this...

#pw+XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX+X# (The Xs are numbers)

Press * multipule times to get the +, p and w.

And is to typed in to the standby screen, (I think with the SIM card in).

Yup, just have the phone on and on the desktop (preferably with nothing running) and type in the number. The sheet you have gotten from vodafone should tell you the right keys to press to get certain characters.

Once you enter the number, you should get a message telling you its unlocked (or something to that effect).
