nice1

do i have to activate gps

in maps i easily waited 10 mins for a gps fix nothing

my bluetooth gps picks up sats it like 30 seconds

1. First fix can take up to 30mins!
2. Ver12 OS gives Agps ability which improves operation.
3. Why on God's earth don't you do a forum search cos this has been covered soooooo many times! It's all there to find!

Having never had a problem with the GPS I wondered what all the trouble is with getting a fix.

It was only after firmware update I noticed, I tried using tracker and it was taking for ever so I shut it down and tried the GPS Data Progrm and got a fix in a short time.

I dont know how the software works on this, does each piece of software have its own GPS Driver? So initial fixes could take diffrent time spans?

Or is the processor struggling with running maps and GPS at the same time?

If any on is struggling its worth a try anyhow.

Best
