Beware Yahoo Go version 2

I have a three contract and originally had an N73.
When i first got the phone it had Yahoo Go (version 1) on it...

I would give this program a 9 out of 10 rating.
It was great, it synced with my online contacts
it synced with my Yahoo photos

(looking at my photos online was instantaneous - to the point where i didn't even bother storing them on my phone it was quicker to go to yahoo--and they are in folders!)

It also synced with my online calendar.

AND my yahoo email was delivered instantly to my message inbox
All in all a fantastic app and all done from one front end screen

Then i got an email saying that version was finished, upgrade to version 2.

Well i have to say its absolute shite.
The prog takes ages to open, all americanised, the Football pages are FOUR MONTHS out of date. It connects to Flickr but takes AGES. it no longer syncs with my calendar or contacts, all in all a rubbish program....

I agree!

Is there any alternative to the sync features that yahoo offered? :frown: Or willt his fall onto deaf ears as usual.

People are very unhelpful here.

Stumbled upon a review of Memotoo on this website, and thought i'd have a look at it.

It IS subsrciption based but works out to about a pound a month, it seems to be very substansive and all encompassing.

I was very impressed and signed up and have taken out the subscription offer, gonna try a month and see how it works out....
Definately worth a look,

Only downside is forum is in French, and there are a few dodgy translations, but all in all seems pretty good
