Well after reading the "locked" post and some other posts (including the very first about Net Monitor which they were hidden and links on it) I am going to make a state about Nokia.
We all know how good phones they make, and their support is not bad (unless you live in a country like Greece where Alpha Copy is in charge).
But their policy stinks.
Net Monitor is illegal, but was it illegal some years ago?
And it has nothing to do with AAS (These people are just doing their job,and they are doing it very well, and that's why they want their site to be legal).
But it's not illegal if you'll buy it, and it's also too pricey (the price depends on the phone 800-11000!!! euros I have read somewhere)
And after seeing Nokia's 7650 built in software (which makes you buy more 3rd party programs for it because the built in are incomplete)I think it reminds me of another company. Or maybe many other companies.
MICROSOFT(and it's rivals). And do you know why?
Because they want to be Microsoft in the Mobile department (like the rivals of Microsoft eg.AOL Time Warner)
And when a company comes to such a state then it only really cares about money making and not their customers.
Many company's have been lead to that state and it was not very good for them but their power was too great to be killed.
Examples?:Sony and their ps2(only rumors until it came and it was't that great.It was worst than Dreamcast in the software department)
Intel.after dominating the cpu market (and killing Cyrix)they fell in their own trap and gave power to AMD.
Microsoft(yess it is). They missunderstood the power of the internet and Linux. The first problem was fixxed but the second...it's too late)
They have their power (Marketing) to long live. But we have greater. We have the power of choice!
There are many more I want to say but I won't.My lesson?
NEVER BUY AGAIN A NOKIA PHONE
Even if it is the best the greatest. But they are not alone they fell into their own trap and left their rivals to catch them (Sony-Ericsson).
