One of them sold it on http://www.fleamarket.gr/lot.cfm?lotID=714878 for 705 euro.....

When I first posted a couple of 3650 pix on this thread, no one belived the increased quality of them compaired to the 7650 and thought they were dotored.
I'm glad now everyone can now see the quality of the 3650 cam.
It's great is'nt it!
Pictures are important to me and the 3650 is the best camera phone out there at the moment for picture quality!
It'll be interesting to see how the phones with built in flashes look.

See ya 😊

Can someone post a picture of the 3650 with the blue light keypad or it has blue lights inside, not sure is there such a thing?... I just read it from a post I forgot where but just wondering if the new models looks different than mine.

What I have here is a white keypad with blue backlight.

View the attached image. I took a quick snapshot for you using my PC Camera. Sorry if the image is not so clear. It is because I'm using lousy PC Cam.

I also have the keypad with blue lights. I think it's cool. My phone's casing is blue also and they match really well! 😊 3650 is the best phone... Great camera and great features!

Hmmm... My 3650 doesn't take that good photos as the ones attached to previous posts in this thread. These were taken this morning, I think it looks like some of the 7650 photos I've seen... Which "quality" did you people use?

Were these taken on the 'high' setting?
Make sure in the setting of the camera software you are set to high.
Remember that when taking pix there is no flash so you need as much light on the subject as possible. Try not to take pictures into the light as this will make you pictures dark and undifined - try to get the sun behind you and shinning onto the subject.
Also the focal point is best at a meter or so away I find and you get good focus.

You'll find once you've taken a few pix you'll get to know what will make a nice shot or not and naturally without thinking start taking better pix 😊

Best

Will

Thanks for your tips!
And yes, I used the "high" setting.
Guess you are right I need to get used to how to take good pics, hehe. However, what I did not like was the unsharp parts of the photos I took. From other photos and people's testimonies I thought that they should be much sharper than 7650 photos 😉

Take a picture of something a little closer, you should see it's much sharper. Landscape shots are a little fuzzy on distant objects - also get a good bit of light behind it, it works wonders..

Keep playing - try a 3650 and a 7650 side by side and I'm sure you'll agree the 3650 is MUCH better!

Best 😊

Too little light, taken into sun.. 2 mistakes there 😃

Yeah, maybe "mistakes", but if so it is kind of sad that the light wasn't enough as I thought it was almost daylight. Also sad that the one thing I love this time of the year - the sun - isn't possible to "catch" at all 😉 I live in the north and this time of the year the sun definitely has returned to us, not being able to take photos showing that is sad 😉

If the sun had been a bit higher, so that the snow had reflected it, it might
have helped the picture... Just take more pictures and you find out how to
take better ones 😃
And I promise that in the summer the pictures will be good if the sun is shining. 😃 😃

Take any 'normal' camera my friend, without a flash, and then take a picture like the one you took above and you'll see that picture also will be poor 😉

Have fun 😊

Will

Hehe, almost "touching" the way you ppl are trying your best to comfort me! To set things right: I did not expect the photos to look "superior" in the first place, after all, it's a phone 😉 So I am not that surprised about the limitations it has, but the photos I attached above don't look that way when I look at them using the phone's display, in fact the difference is huge! On the phone they look great! The one with the sun looks particulary good. But when I send them via Email as attachments they turn up like above. So to me it seems something "happens" when I send them via Email. Is that different from "beaming" them to the computer via BT or IR? (I haven't got my BT adapter yet)

Haha, thats cause we love our phones and like helping people.
I think you'll find what you see is what you get, sending via e-mail or BT or IR makes no difference to the file, only changes if you send it via MMS and have your MMS setting to send as 'small'

The reason it looks so good on the screen is because of the small size of the screen.

Take that image into photoshop in change the dpi to 144 instead of 72 without actually 'changing' the pixels - you will see the image looks much better at holf the size.

I print my images out on photopaper in 144 dpi and they look fine - obviously not as good as a proper digital camera but still very acceptable.
I also take pix of the kids on days out and put them onto CD-R using a product called DVD PictureShow and play them back on my TV in my DVD Player - VERY acceptable results!
Lots off brownie points from the wife on that one! 😉

Have fun my friend 😊

Best

I am now at home, looking at the same pictures on my home computer, and now they look better. Seems some monitor setting I use at work made them look much darker than they actually are. I don't understand why as I "feel" I have the same brightness and contrast on the montitors, hehe, but obviously it isn't exactly the same 😉 I also tried to apply "sharpen more" to them using Paint Shop Pro and that made them even better, hehe! There is hope I say 😉
