Slingplayer for Nokia N95?

I read on the nokia website that a test version for slingplayer had been released in the US.

Anyone knows where one can access it?

The beta is ongoing at present. Someone on the my-symbian forums stated he's involved but couldn't say anything more. It's only a matter of time until it's readily available (a short time hopefully).

I am the person who posted on my-symbian.com. The beta is a closed beta but has been going on for a little over a month (initial estimates were that it would last for about a month). The veraion released for testing yesterday was version 1.0; previous versions were 0.9x so I suspect that they are close to a public release.

I'm looking forward to this.

I don't have a Slingbox, but will be getting one once there's a public release of the S60 player.

You can get SlingPlayer from Three if you have an X-Series data tariff. It's SlingPlayer Mobile for Symbian S60, version 1.56.0

I find X-series too pricey for me. And the new slingplayer should work with wifi too and have full screen mode.

This one does not require 3 network, work both over wifi and 3G. Enjoy!

Does the above quote mean, that if I am on T-Mobile Web n' Walk package on my Nokia N95, that I can now rush out and buy the SlingBox?

I've been waiting to hear these words for so long now, I almost gave up on the slingbox...

Please confirm?

Thanks,

mike

where is the best place to buy this slingbox in europe for a very good price ? I have an N95 and would like to connect the slingbox to my SKY reciever so I can watch it abroad on my N95...

Well I just bought mine from Amazon.co.uk and if purchased before 5pm today, you can have it by tomorrow lunch time. 😎

Currys Digital sell them as well.

good price at amazon but shame they dont sell outside the UK. I am in Malta....any other good place with good price ?

EXCELLENT picture quality but sound has a background "hiss" but it's not that bad. Using T-mobile web package on N95 and running the slingplayer through a Thompson Freeview DVR . Setup was VERY easy and I can know receive all freeview programs through ny N95!!!
Excellent piece of kit!
