I think it's possible. You can set up the webcam on your desktop and have one of those livecam software publish captures periodically to a webspace you choose, and simply point your P800's browser to that webspace, if that's what you mean.
It is possible to watch live web cam, you need a Packet Video MP4 Streaming server and that is the downside, but it may come available in a different form if someone just breaks the code, sooner or later. Here is couple of streaming sited for your P800 these are live cams from Paris and New York

New York Times Square Live Cam

Enjoy and please post more live cams when you get some.
thankx
how do i view paris and new york on my P800.where do i view it from??
go to your browser then in the bottom left by the globe and the magnifyer icon there is one made of bookmarks "looks like 2 squares interlaced", click on it and there it says live cameras. Mine was already set to a few bookmarks as well as the sony ericsson website when i bought it. Probably comes standart. Live views are so cool you can actualy see the blinker of a car turning!

The funny thing is every bookmarks i have i can click on the internet tab and page information to get the full url to get there, but this page from earthcam doesn't have that option! its there but greyed out.!!
May be you should head to earthcam.com and ask them the url.
I have it too and it freaked me out because I thought somebody had been using my phone and I was getting a second hand.
The location is:
www.earthcam.com/p800-live/Index.html
They also announce software that will make you able to access your PC web Cam.
I don't know if it makes a difference but the WAP acct my phone uses to access it is different from my Tmobile acct. It's listed as preferred and NO in encrypted.
hey Me, can you tell me if you can access aim from tmobile t-zones! i can check my aol mail everything else functions excepts aim!
this whole thread makes me very happy I have an unlimited gprs account - 30 a month... 😃
Now I'll be even happier if I can get it working the other way, ie using GPRS and software on the P800 to stream video back to a webpage... imagine using that at a festival in your top pocket.....
Hey Andy I guess you are in the UK, who do you have your unlimited account for 30 quid with?
And yes that would be a great idea or what about a web site where people tune in to see you pick up a bird take here home and sort her out live from your P800 😃
Singlepoint.. apparently they had 6 ppl enquire about gprs, so it wasn't worth creating a pricing structure..
2 ppl eventually went for it, so they just said as they couldn't measure how much we were using, 30 for unlimited.
Great 😉
Haven't used it much with the t68, but intend to rape it when im on the p800....
Is it like the ReqWireless WebViewer? it recognizes BlueTooth connection and lets u use ur dsl via BT or is GPRS a must? :\
