Official developer site Forum Nokia has published its detailed tech spec pages for the Nokia E51 and the Nokia N95-3 NAM, aka the American N95. Amongst other things, it reveals that the E51 has 96 megabytes of RAM (with 50 MB free for user applications), while the N95-3 NAM has 128 megabytes (with 81 MB free for user apps).

Read on in the full article.

Very good info to know,so it appears that hopefully from now on all Nokia S60 devices will have a lot more free RAM to play with. The recent N76 and N81 both have a total amount of 96mb RAM with around 42mb free and upwards to 50mb free on the E51.The top spec Nokia models have 128mb total RAM with around 80mb free in the case of the E90 to around 90mb free in the N95 8GB...😎

Seems like the U.S n95 has the same screen size as the original n95.

There seems to be more similarities to the original n95 than the 8GB version. I wonder if build quality is the same as the original which wasn't great especially the slider mech.

I was really surprised by the slider's looseness, it's looser than my cheap Nokia 5300.

But then it's the only slider which goes two ways, which presumably makes it a bit more difficult to lock into place than a normal slider. If they'd stuck to a normal mechanism it would probably have been a lot more solid, like the 6110.

This seems to be the old n95. Screen looks smaller, and not wider as the n958gb. Also the memory in the spec sheet speaks of

Max User Storage: 157 MB

NAND Memory: 256 MB

SDRAM Memory: 128 MB

~81 MB Free Executable RAM Memory

Memory Card: Micro SD

Max Memory Card Size: 2 GB

Memory Card Feature: Hot Swap

Unlimited Heap size

Unlimited Jar size

Where is the 8 GB?

And the N95 8gb has no memory card, this has.

Poor movie nokia, to dump your old crap into the unaware yet unsuspecting dumb american public
