ZDNet did an interview with Opera people before Christmas, last year. The most exciting feature is probably the small-screen rendering technology as you won't have to scroll horizontally as much.

Speaking of browsers, how about Mozilla?! 😉 That's also something to keep an eye on.

Well, by the look of this page, http://www.opera.com/products/smartphone/products/uiq/ , it looks like Opera is the default/bundled browser that P800 comes with.

hmm.. i've seen this beta opera for P800... it's kinda different.. u can open several website at a time, and switch between page

Here is a video news flash from CNET News.com

😃

Actually, I believe Opera is already in our P800's.

Here is a quote from Opera's pages:

"Opera is the default browser for Symbian OS communicator devices and is bundled with the operating system. The user interface is developed by UIQ and is part of the general delivery to the licensees. "

That quote is incomplete... yes, it is supposed to be default in UIQ, but they weren't able to finish it in time for the P800 release... which is why the P800 can't view all HTML sites just yet.

It did say that it will be available for download either from Opera, Symbian, or SE.

Good point. I can't even check hotmail with the P800 browser.
