Nokia has announced Mail for Exchange 2.0, available now, for anyone using Microsoft Exchange Server with Nokia Eseries and selected Nseries devices. N80 is not listed in the drop down menu. Installed on my N80, but did not work (device not compatible).

N80 only works with trick.
1. Install mfe v1.3
2. Do the settings & test.
3. Install v2.0 over v1.3 to be able to accept meeting request and get corporate directory access.

Hasn't MfE 2.0 been out for a while now? I'm sure I installed this version on my n95 a month ago!

Slow press release! :con?

I have got it working with my company exchange server on my N95, it has been available to download for a while. Works very well apart from a couple of bugs I have noticed. All day events are created as 24 hour meetings on the phone instead of memos like PC Suite does. Also when creating a signature the carriage return does not work.

I keep on getting "Update Error" on both my E70 and my colleagues E61i. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Rgds,

Lark

Glad I'm not the only one who can't get the carriage returns to work in the signature, it's been driving me nuts. And that I wasn't going mad about having this version already!

yes it has been out for a while. I thought i was imagining things or hallucinating at first. lol. Glad to see i am not insane.

Yes, companies have (wisely) started leaking new software out softly, gauging reaction and bug reports, then fixing anything urgent as silently as possible before making a big press splash after a few weeks.

Quickoffice, for example, do the same thing, as I've discovered, leaking new versions out early via Quickmanager.

Makes it tricky for news sites to decide when to actually cover the story. In this case, we were simply reporting Nokia's *official* launch of v2.0.

It doesn't work on my E61 too.. It always said "Update Error"
Is there anybody have successfully installed MfE 2.0 on E61?

I've finally made it.. For anybody who got this "Update Error" Message, I think you have Blackberry application installed on your phone. On my E61, I tried to uninstall Blackberry Application and install MfE 2.0 and it works. But I haven't tried to install the Blackberry. Since MfE is enough for now :P
good luck fellas..
