I am afraid I cannot send to other networks yet (from Vodafone Greece), but let me tell you about my experience with mms while it was a free service here, from july 2002 to january 2003:
Over 30 people that had only talked in Greek forums, formed some kind of a "club" and sent dozens of mms a day, sometimes well over a hunderd! We sent photos we took, voice messages, photos that we had first modified with "image plus" 😉, even in form of stories (we had some members with T68i that can create mms with multiple images/sounds)... Then we had some meetings to get to know each other, where we had huge fun and had live reports to member who were too far to come etc.
To cut a long story short, it was real fun while it lasted, but with the price they announced it is out of the question to keep using them like this, not even a lot less frequently.. 😞

What is price of MMS in greece?
What is price of MMS in greece?
The price is 0.46 regardless the size, for EACH recipent as I was told (although the Customer Care was a bit confused about this when I asked). Considering the price for other GPRS services (0.0059/Kb is a normal price but there are much lower ones), and the fact that unlike SMS it is sent only ONCE just like e-mail with multiple recepients, this is way too much I believe.
But ths is for Vodafone GR only, though. The other two providers that have this service are still free and have not announced prices yet. I can only hope they are more down-to-earth. 😊
It's high price, but here in Czech Republic we have price 0,3/MMS which is cheaper like yours, but average income is here lower than in Greece. Average czech citizen earns about 500/month before taxing, so price here is totally horrible and few people are using MMS :x
here in Belgium cost 0,50
it's expensive...
greetzzz
In finland with DNA, MMS cost is 0.47
here MMS is free till February 28.
SMS cost is 0.045$ - to be accurate :wink -
