well, just want to share this clamor with regard to deleting posts! i made a post in a another forum (ok, what the hell, i'll name it - P800 forums) and maybe a/some mod/s didn't like it and decided to delete it! :evil:
nope, wasn't a post about warez, and nope wasn't any personal attack or anythng like that! it was merely a post explaining why i made such previous posts!!! :evil:
i have some idea who, but wouldn't bother dropping names! i just want to say that i feel it's pretty childish! you know why i respect people like muffy and izzo? because if they didn't like a certain post and felt it was sort of attacking them, they would reply and answer! I GUESS THIS IS WHY THIS PLACE IS CALLED A FORUM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! but, deleting a post - nope, that's not izzo's and muffy's style. :evil:
i dont really give a tiny rat's ass about the post being deleted or the who delete it, - i just want to share - and hope this post won't be deleted as well! :evil:
The only people that can actually delete posts in the P800 forum are either the admins or the Mods of that forum, which sure excludes me! 😊
Anyways P800 modsare: All admins, upponalle ans AnasP800.
I wonder what you post was....and why would someone delete it without PMing you. :-?

my sentiments exactly! i posted that explaining why my conversation with hianwhee quite veered away from the main topic: pics taken by the P800! and when i checked this morning for the post and any replies it was gone! well, i dont really mind it now. its all released and out! thanks for the quick response!

Aha!!! there you go! see what i mean! :x i was starting to think that's where hianwhee's warning came from! i smell something about that forum. there MIGHT (notice the stress on 'might' to avoid being offensive)be something dodgy goin on there! :x

I will update you later on this evening when i can get to a PC.
I aim only to delete double postings to make things look neater. That said I have no powers in the P800 to my knowledge, and only went in there once or twice a few months back.
like i said, i have a pretty good idea who deleted it. but nobody can force me to drop names, well, unless it's rafe! 😃
i've already notice the action taken by the admin on this issue. 😉 thanks rafe and jizzo for the response - and any of the other mods who had a share in this response. 😃

Maybe there should be an e-mail sent notifying that the Thread that you are subscribing to has been deleted by so and so. Reason behind etc.

Can i just say at this point that I don't think this was aimed at you Sean (deleting) but it was more of a misunderstanding of the role played by a moderator. Which i now feel has been understood by the persons involved.

I think that post deletion mishap has been just that,a mishap,nothing more.
I'm not taking anyones side here and i really feel that "FAQ you" and "MODS CHECK THIS OUT PLEASSSEE!!!" posts should stop.
look, i never intended anybody to be taken out from where they were, i never demanded that! i never even mentioned a name at one time. it wouldn't even have bothered me if nothing was done about the whole thing! i was happy some people did something to answer the issue. the thing is - admin never mentioned to me nor explained anything with regard to it! i noticed it on my own. if i knew it was never aimed at me (deleting) well and good! but that fact is, it was never mentioned! not an email from jizzo or rafe! i could have been happy knowing about the whole story and there could have not been a problem between me and Anas! but now, he (Anas) posted this crap (FAQ U) for me!!! :x now, is it just me, or that was really aimed at me, dead center!? :evil: you guys tell me! :x
