Active Notes now standalone?

Symbian in Motion is reporting that the Nokia E90's Active Notes application, letting you insert images and other objects into HTML-based text notes, is now available for all S60 3rd Edition devices. SiM provides a download link but comments welcome as to the authenticity and source of the sisx file. Maybe this is Nokia leaking the app out quietly?

Yes, it's from Nokia!

I already found it a couple of days ago through the Download! application on my E61i (Italy).

i already read it yesterday morning in hxxp://symbian-applications.blogspot.com/2007/10/active-notes-finally-for-all-s60-3rd.html (i guess the first blog to announce the new)...anyway great move from nokia !

Works on N80, looks like the real thing. Very useful application. Particularly like the add note to call function.

No way an active note -formerly linked to a contact- appears when you make or receive a call to/from that contact...

It was the old version of Nokia Conversations that didn't let an active note appear during a call, now everything works fine!

interestingly you can embed playlists in notes and select to open them in music player. quiet convenient...

Why does a sent Active Note not look like it does when I create it. I've found that it opens my web browser on my pc but then it either shows a list of the files (pictures in my case) or it shows the text that Ive typed and links to the pics. The problem is that the links do not open the pics. If I send a lot of pics with text descriptions of each it is not possible, or at least its very difficult, for the recipient to work out which descriptions are for which picture. Am I missing something here or is the app lacking? Somebody please help
