Is it possible to change to the t-mobile product code then update it so you get the, seemingly unaffected, T-Mobile version of the firmware?
The only other difference to the unbranded one seems to be the web'n'walk logo instead of the normal browser icon so it might be a good move.
Anyone care to try that?

I do wonder what is in Nokia's mind to have left it unaddressed for so long.Still, I will probably buy yet another one of their new phones so they probably have the right idea from a business point of view.
Why they have left it unaddressed? May be the reason is that they don't care enough? You are lucky your native language is English. My Danish N95 has many more bugs than yours. For example "say callers name" restarts the phone, whenever I choose Danish as Phone's language, but that doesn't happen when it is in English. And yes, they did not care to give out a fix for this until now.
I don't know if this has been mentioned already but the N95 and the N95 8GB are listed seperately as being compatible from launch on the n-gage website (FAQ section).
So, wouldn't they need to get this version out before then to make that statement true?
I guess that, because the next update is large, they just went straight into developing that, rather than fixing the keypress bug.. annoyingly, because that's why I'm still on V11. I value not missing keypresses more than AGPS.

My dad somehow managed to become a beta tester for nokia and owns an n95 along with myself. He logged into the beta testers only forum and posted the question we all want the answer to, when is v20 going to be released to the public?
The answer in return was, Nokia is aware of the demand for the new v20 firmware but due to massive changes and improvements to the functionality and stability of the software v20 will never be released to the general public but v30 will be released as soon as it is ready.
This was the reply given to him from the head of the beta testing division.
Looks like we wont be having anything this side of 2008 guys.
However the new pc suite with the drag and drop functionality is pretty cool though. Has anyone else got this?
This was obviously wrong info, as its available from today.
Alright, no need to gloat, though this does back up my point about why we need reliable sources like a press release or official website when information like this is presented

lol why drag up a 5 month old thread 🙄
I predict v40 wont be out for a while and then Nokia wont be releasing the N97.
