I just wanted to know if there was any mobile which supported both these standards? You see CDMA is launching in a big way in my countery but I want to keep my existing GSM phone (7650 ). If there was a phone that supports both standards, woudn't it be great!!!

Don't think so.. bascially GSM and CDMA work totally differently. Different protocol too.
The CPU chipset also not the same as the 2 different protocol either.
If the network is GSM 900 , 1800 and 1900, then it can be done. CDMA will be the next generation network becoz it can support 3G technology. GSM shall be phase out in near future.
7650 is still a 2.5G phone not a 3G one. 😉

So i guess, once CDMA is in, our good old 7650 will have to go to the bin 😞 Thanks for the info though anyway.
What about UMTS?
What country do you live in, can't you just switch to a GSM operator?
