wlan questions

Hi i've 2 questions regarding the Nokia's E51 wlan support.

Is it possible to completely deactivate wifi somehow, like offline-/flight-mode for gprs? Is there maybe some S60 software for this?

And is wifi deactivated temporarily if I choose "Switch WLAN scan off" from the Wlan plugin?

If any program needs to go to the net you have to define it in the settings for that program.

Wifi is off when there's no "wifi icon" shown at the top right corner of your screen. And yes, if you put switch wlan scan off, on, it should be off (assuming you didn't set it up to scan for wlan every so often in the tools menu.).
