I just got my Bluetooth today. 😃

I have installed the software that come with the Bluetooth, but it dose not seem to be working. :x

On the mroter I only have Infrared and NO com ports

Can u please help me out guys?

Are you sure you installed it properly? I have the same adaptor, worked like a charm with everything but NOT with it own driver (widcomm 1.2.2.9 if I remember well), but with either widcomm 1.2.2.16 or 1.3.2.7 which I use now. With its own driver, I could not transfer files from the 7650 to the PC, but everything else worked.
You'll find links to those versions in this forum (e.g. here)

Thanks for getting back mate.

I have installed it properly, I even reinstalled PC Suite.

The Bluetooth is on and flashes, but its not connecting to PC suite.
So Im going to download the Drivers u told me

Can u tell me how u got your one working please?

Thanks
😉

I downloaded the 1.3.7.2 "BTUSB" driver, it must be the same in both "USBBT02-B / CFBT02-B" and "USBBT02-N / CFBT02-N". I think I got the second, though.

A related question: Does anyone know if the Sony Vaio Bluetooth Dongle (PCGA-BA1) will work with Windows 2000 and with the 7650?

I have paired the pc with the 7650 (don't know if I have to, though), then check the COM ports in mrouter, open the device from "my bluetooth places" (in XP), right click on the serial port and choose connect. Ignore the error message, then check the router, it should be connected. now you can run PC Suite!
