i'm with 3 australia, using an 'standard' n73. my product code is 0539691.
recently i checked nokia website with my code and came up with this strange message:
"Latest available software for Nokia N73, product code 0539691
Version: 4.0734.2.0.2"
as far as i know the latest softwares are 4.0735.3.0.2 / 4.0736.3.2.1 (ME).
so i was wondering what the hell is this version 4.0734.2.0.2 .
and the biggest question is: does it solve the 'BLUETOOTH' GPS connection problem introduced by some 'intermediate' versions like 4.0726.....etc.
sorry, had to bump it. it's been 6 months and no reply.
isn't there anyone out there with an answer???
this looks like an operator-specific firmware but talk on the nokia forums say this is a european variant...
i would suggest changing the product code and getting generic software.
i understand that it's a 3-specific software version, possibly modified by nokia with pre-installed 3 softwares. the previous versions also had different version number than the generic versions.
but my main concern is that if it conflicts with generic bluetooth devices. my current 'bt-77 bluetooth gps' works perfectly with my 3.0638 version using tomtom 6.01. and thats very important for me as i moved into a new city.
so i need to make sure that i'd not loose my 'bluetooth gps' capability before upgrading. anyone know anyhing about that???
