If I told you 'yesterday', would you be upset? Must say, excellent service. Very happy.
And now I'm just posting to show off, as this is from my N95 running mini Opera and using the iGo keyboard. Such a cool tool. Only downer is I've yet to find a way to get all the sticky label off the keys and case. Grrrr. It's a slow fingernail scrape type of process.
Yeah, that annoying sticker> GRRRR I still have it on the outside, but I've taken it off the keys.
I thought someone said they'd addressed that frigging sticker!!!
I was surprised that with the effort it took to scrape it off there was zero damage to the keys!
Yeah i was talking earlier in the thread about how lighter fluid would take off the adhesive.
AGAIN: DO NOT IGNITE THE LIGHTER FLUID, use it as a cleaning solvent.

Couple of pointers.
1. The keyboard has a powersave facility, configurable from within the driver software. Once powersave has activated, you will notice that the phone loses connection with the keyboard. Don't worry. All you have to do is hit a key a few times and this will wake the keyboard up and it will auto connect with the phone (assuming you haven't switched bluetooth off on the phone). Note this will take a few seconds as the BT stack wakes up)
2. Once the driver is properly configured, and this would seem to be the case as you've had it working ok until powersave, you do not need to relaunch the driver software. The keyboard will reconnect with the phone when (a) Bluetooth is switched on, on the N95 and (b) the keyboard is opened (or (c) you hit a couple of keys on the already opened keyboard if it's in powersave mode).
3. Check the little green flashing light on the keyboard. Flashing every second - in discoverable mode (you should only need to see this once), flashing every five seconds - connected to phone OK, red light - change batteries, no light - in powersave (or dead batteries)
Hope this helps.

Hello there everyone... nice to see this thread has had lots of replies 😊
Yeah... It's a good keyboard.. But the bloody sticker eh??! I haven't bothered to scrap it off yet... Bit of a pain in the bum! It's a good little device.
I'm interested... What are you lot using your phone and keyboard for? Is it just using the internet?
internet, mail, sms (if more than 160 chars) and PS3... in fact I use it more for the PS3... 😉

Internet (using it now), email, SMS, IM, Word and Excel, and as a stand for reading pdf docs (easier navigation too)

It's the left or right space keys not <Left> or <right>. So, press (Blue) FN + (Left) Space for the left soft key and (Blue) FN + (Right) Space for the right soft key. No set up required, it comes pre-configured this way.

OK so now i feel just a tad dumb 😃
thanks hehe
christ - any help you can give with this would be very much appreciated.
so i just got my igo...having cleaned the bloody sticker off the keys, i downloaded the n73 drivers to my laptop and bluetoothed them to my n95.
They seemed to install fine and i have the stwy app in my applications folder.
I press ctrl and the two fn keys on the stowaway and the green light starts flashing.
I then click 'enable bt' in the stwy menu on the n95, which gives me a message saying 'BT keyboard scanning'
After a while, the n95 finds the keyboard and asks me to input a pin code.
i enter a code (tried about a million different possibilities) and it says 'BT keyboard connecting...'
I enter the same code on the keyboard [yes - i remembered to hold down the blue fn key] but then nothing happens. After a few seconds the phone starts its scanning again and the cycle goes round a couple more times without ever connecting.
After a while the n95 says 'BT keyboard connection failed'
As an added bonus, after about 10 minutes of this the green light on the igo stops flashing, and no amount of button pressing will get it going again. I have to close the keyboard and then reopen it, and the light starts up again immediately without me doing anything.
pleeeease. any ideas? driving me mad
😡
for example .. 8 as a passcode and on your keyboard blue fn 8 AND then blue fn ENTER
try that 😊
ok - found a way round this. just ignored the igo stowaway app altogether and used the wireless keyboard app foudn in the 'office' folder - worked first time.
One other question - everything i have read says the left and right softkeys can be triggered from the igo by pressing blue fn + either the right or left space keys...However mine completely refuses to do this - nothing happens.
The fn key and the space keys work perfectly well elsewhere, just seemingly not in combination when trying to do this.
Also - my reading suggests that you don't 'turn the keyboard off' when you're finished, you just close it and this powers it down. Is that correct?
any ideas on all this gratefully received - thanks all

thank you seki - as above, i just found another way around 😊
