Messenger Software & Data packages

Hi

I'm just about to upgrade by 9500 to an E90. I'm currently on Vodafone but not sure whether to stay or switch to O2. I am also thinking of adding a small data allowance.

I often use Agile Messenger to connect to to MSN but I notice that the data packages do not allow messenger or Skype data from the allowance and charge extra for this. If this is the case, it would not be worth me adding the data package as I do little browsing on my phone.

Does anyone have any actual experience of the network charging or know of any messenger packages which run through a proxy of use different ports.

Try 3.

Buy a SIM card in store for £2, add £10 top up and the card is free (£2 refunded).

Then go online and spend £5 getting the unlimited data add-on for 1 month.
Next month, spend the remaining £5 on another data add-on.
