Wouldn't that be a nice app to have?? I know there's one for the 7650 - and it looks soooo cool. It's so time consuming to change my outgoing message in my voicemail from my service provider. Such an app should be able to hold several different outgoing messages and make it possible to change it with a cople of stylus-clicks. And even better: the possibility of chosing message in the moment that someone calls - like an instant popup-list of messages when the phone rings. Maybe a bit optimistic - but dreaming is nice. Any code-warriors out there???
Wanted killer app: Answering machine for the P800!
I agree!!!! I would really like such an app. Hope it will be there soon!!!!!!
I hope there someone out there, who can really code ! 😊
The problem is on the service. If oyu have a provider like T-Mobile for example,(Which sucks) you'll end up having to check your voicemail anyway because of all the calls that just won't go through....
...unless ofcourse you can program your p800 answering machine to access yoiur voicemail anr record the messages for you...he he he 😃
I don't see why it shouldn't work. Such an app exists for the Nokia 7650 which uses the same OS (albiet an older version).

Heh heh heh...
This reminds me of my cousin's reaction to the price of my phone:
"Sh*t! I hope for your sake and the amount of money you blew on that thing that it can cook dinner and clean your room too!"
It doesn't, but at least I don't have to lug around a PDA and a cell phone at the same time
