Anybody know where the Contacts Thumbnails are stored?...
i am trying to see if we can save some memory making the contact
thumbnails by our selfs, i mean... may be if we make thumbnails with a few colors (gif 40 x 48 x 8 colors), this gif use only 1kb or less.
But i don't know if thumbnails are created automaticlly with some kind of converter that always create a thumbnail using always the same amount of kb.
That's why i want to check the size of the thumbnails already created by the phone.
any ideas?

i saw the thumbnails created by the phone for images... that one we see on the list of images... on C:\Nokia\Images_tn\...
That thumbs are 4kb. JPG... if that is equal to contacts thumbs we are using 4kb. for each contact that use it. 😮
That's why i want to use a GIF 8 colors or 16 that use 1kb. each one...
But i think that the phone convert everytime to JPG 4kb.. no matter the format that you supply for it :cry:
anyway ... where are the contacts thumbs? :microwave:

Those pictures are in contacts.cdb
And also they are much smaller than the thubnails used for the photos (not only in resolution but also in space).
Being embended with the contacts also meen that they are compressed (besides the jpeg compression)
