Yeah, it looks good, does everything as well or better and (maybe) has TV too

good, just i read on one of the early posts to this thread that it didnt. Thought it did, its on the nseries site now

well one thing is for sure, the digital tv wont work here in the US i bet. n96 doesnt have US 3G frequencies yet either. i assume if they were to release a US 3G version, would they include the correct digi tv tuner as well? even though mobile tv hasnt gone live yet here.

didnt even know mobile tv was running over here.

On the n96 it wont use a net connection will it, doesnt it have a seperate reciever?

The N96 carries a DVB-H with it. It is integrated in the phone and acts as a TV receiver. It doesn't need any additional connectivity for this purpose

so what type of reciever is that, does it recieve all digital channels and surely the reception quality wont be good enough?

I still think the n95 8GB is still better than the n96 unless you need masses of storage.

From what I've read though sound quality may surpass the n91 which might be the best feature of all.

yeah it does.. Creatures of the Deep allows you to switch the orientation to landscape 180 degrees, which is 90deg to the right. yeah its much better like that, just like how we're used to it on regular joypads 😊 i dont know about other games yet though.. still waiting for the official engage release to try it all out..

yeah, apparently the dsp chip on the n96 will be the same (or better) than the n81, which sounds great.. possibly sounding better than the n91. that's my tick for upgrading to the n96... sound quality!

The exception on the N95 is sound quality which is step down from my N91 which was the best sound I've ever had from a portable device, even an iPod. If the N96 is even better, it is a definate possibility as an upgade

yeah, like i said above, it should be on par or better than the n91. it looks like we have the same reason to upgrade our n95s 😊 even my 1st gen ngage phone has better sound quality than the n95!
