Using M600i without stylus?

Hi all.

I was wondering, can you use simple functions of SE M600i without stylus? Such as sending, recieving and composing SMS and making/receiving phone calls and accessing/composing todo list or memo. Like could I use my fingers instead of stylus for accessing above functions? Are the icons big enough to allow this? I have small hands FYI.

It seems these are the most functions I use often that requires one handed operation. For other functions I would be in situation where I could use two hands, hence the stylus.

Also when I do this, can I get away from pressing the jog dial for all functions? I love using jog dial for up and down scrolling but hate pressing them. I just never get them right.

I currently use blackberry and I hate the fact that I have to press jog dial to access all functions.

Thanks in advance.

I often use my fingernail on the touch screen. It works well enough. Some things, like the virtual keyboard, require the stylus as the keys are very small. Many functions can be performed using the keyboard so you won't need to use the touch screen all the time.

The jog dial is very much optional. I only use it for web browsing and volume.

Oh cool. I just realized after reading your post that the jog dial could be clicked. That should give you an idea how easy it is to avoid. 😊
