CorePlayer has been inching up to a major new release, 1.2, for a while now. Registered users can upgrade to a special 'preview' version of 1.2, which includes better support for file type associations, streaming video, plus support for Speex and GSM audio. (via p@sco)

great technology but appalling user interface on the last version. Has it been improved on this one?
nope it still has the rubbish user interface that is as un-user friendly as you can get...😮
Only $30 to replace your free DiVX player!
And I also don't like that it mixes audio files with video files in a single and pretty long and unmanageable (poor UI) list.
I play audio with a built-in Music Player and I want my video player ignore (hide) them.
Dont waste your money - I bought Coreplayer a while back for the promise of wmv support which was promised way back in November..and now I get told that it will be supported by Coreplayer 1.5! (which is years away if their 7 month turnaround inbetween releases is anything to go by). Not only is wmv not supported but the software is incredibly buggy. I have asked questions on the forum and the customer service guy has been nothing short of rude - his only answer, wait until 1.2 - and guess what, the issues havent been fixed. Coreplayer are cowboys - do not do it! Just look at their forums for all the complainst, you will see!
