Hi,
NSU has just offered me the above firmware version to upgrade to... can't find any info about it on the web or in the N73 firmware thread...
Does anybody know anything about it, or have you installed it and can you share your experience of it?

I took the plunge and installed for myself...
Phone doesn't seem any faster and startup time is about the same.
Device info reports 16mb RAM free at first boot up.
Only noticable changes for now are the "internet sharing" app has gone from applications and been replaced with a "mobile TV" app. If you open this, it looks for a bluetooth device which the help page calls the SW-33W?!?

Did they pull this? I'm on the generic Euro product code and it doesn't seem to be available.
THIS FIRMWARE IS BADLY GLITCHED IT HAS NOW BEEN PULLED.
You cannot change volume on radio and music player the RAM is lower than the version before overall a very poor firmware and I feel sorry for anyone who has installed it! 😞

Firmware was pulled, but there are NO problems with the Volume controls.. I'm on this FW and the volume works fine.
why has nokia done this for a second time??!!
the last firmware which they subsequently pulled was better - faster and freed up more RAM(demand paging??)
wish i hadnt been so hasty with this one!
no improvements which I can see, only change seems to be inclusion of mobileTV which is useless unless u have an add-on piece of hardware.

I've no problems to report with this firmware and certainly not with volume controls. I've just run the Nokia software updater and it is telling me that the software is up to date and giving me the option to reinstal, so it must still be available (0539101: N73 - Vanilla - EURO 1). Well pleased that this standard Firmware has come out as I wanted to get away from the ME edition and get the Media key functions back.
I've got the 4.0750.31.2.1 firmware, and I can't change the volume during calls which means all my calls are very quiet.
