I got a shit sound when I plug-in the Nokia's HDD-1 stereo headset. I heard dual mono instead in mp3Go

You're right, eventhough you have the mp3 sw, the output will not be as good as expected. it's MONO! :agrue:

what about stereo BT headset?
its good idea but i thing that no software for sending stereo sound to BT

what about if you try running mp3s on the realplayer will it give you stereo (aa..will it work in the first place) ???

i thing that output sound will be mono. maybe realplayer giv output stereo but nokia this sound resample as mono.
real player can plays mp3s or not?
PC RealPlayer does, but I think that 3650/7650 version does not.

Too bad... the Realone player of my 3650 can't play mp3 files!

But on the fair side, mp3go is good enough, although its in mono... better than nothing. 😉

no better than nothing
i can stereo mp3player and what to buy p800 or n3650 that is question for me. yes p800 is great phone blablabla but the price. if 3650 can stereo i buy 3650 and will happy.

Imho neither 3650 nor P800 are suitable mp3-players. 16 MB MS Duo or Mono MP3? Forget about it... Handys aren't that far yet (even modern PDA's only make lousy mp3-players, and they are better multimedia-machines).
If you have enough money, get an iPod, if you don't have that much, consider a NetMD Walkman.

The problem is related with the software.
Both MP3go and realplayer were first developed for 7650 which can output mono only through the speaker.

So we may see some changes in the next realeses of these programs...

yup its mono and thats life.
yes I have this hand set right here so trust me!

this "bug" with mono headset on 3650 can repair new firmware
{not these Chinese to english flashes}

Then why do I keep reading reports like this one

"Brandishing a Nokia 3650, the Finnish company's about-to-be-released camera phone, Freed showed off its ability to play stereo-quality music and digital video downloaded from the BBC."

Inaccurate reporting drives me nuts :x

I believe that the the 3650 is mono.... I looked into this several months ago, and found a spec sheet comparison between this and several other handsets. Unfortunately I cant remember the search string I used in forum, but I know this matter has been discussed before.

IT ONLY HAS A MONO OUTPUT

Which I feel is completely ridiculous as its main selling points are its multimedia capabilities, and its aimed at the youth market. Why else would you want an MMC, if you cant fill it up with music and listen to it at a decent quality level. Other than storing pics/vids on, there seems little point to having one really.

This put me right off getting one.

To install hundreds of games and apps???

on NG forum was this reply:

You could probably get stereo but only with Bluetooth and that would rely on a stereo Bluetooth Headset and the right software.

what this men meen?

I really don't care if it is stereo or mono.......

why do we want stereo??

for music ...????

get that NOKIA MUSIC PLAYER (almost 100 euro in Greece)

which plays MP3 and it also has a radio tuner......

that is stereo......

I will buy NOKIA 3650 and NOKIA Music Player, together......

is it compatibile?
i thing

compatibile with_: Nokia 3310, 3330, 5210, 6510, 8210, 8310, 8850 and 8890 mobile phones

yes it is compatible.....
thats what NOKIA in Greece says.....

and finally here in Greece it costs 77 euro(TELESTET CENTER Kabala 06 March 2003)

it is very cheap
for what it offers....(MP3 - STEREO RADIO)
