Where Is The Firmware Update??? — Nokia N81 and Nokia N82

I have just got an N82 and I have to say the photo quality is astonishing. I mean I have an N95 8GB also but I think there are improvements in picture quality in all conditions but as soon as the flash comes into play in dark or even low light conditions it has suprised me just how good it is.
I must say I even like the number keys that many people dont and the smaller screen is much clearer and probably the perfect size for QVGA resolution.

My 1 and only issue is that there has only been 1 firmware update to fix some minor bugs. Nokia have said Q1 2008 for the major update so where is it???

I want to see WRT, Flashlite 3 support, RDS integration for the Radio and then the device will be perfect for me

If anyone has any news let me know as I am getting impatient!!

I have read, that it's going to be released before the end of this month. 😊 I'm also pretty exited about it. Mine has a lot of small stability problems.. :tongue:

The new black N82 which has just been announced is running a different f/w to the silver one.

I'd expect the equivalent f/w for the silver one to be released at the same time, or thereabouts.... ie 'within weeks'

I really can't wait for this, v11 is a little unstable and cant wait for more features to make this the perfect phone for me!

I assume that it will come with WRT and Flashlight 3 support.....
