Okay, i want to COMPLEATLY reset my 7650 BUT, when i try *#7370#, it asks me for the lock code, which to my recollection is 12345, problem being, it doesn't work, and i have NO idea what i set it as. is there ANY other way i can reset the phone without that code, or any way to recover the code?

just call me dumbass, i found the bit of paperwork that had the codes i changed written down. now resetting my fone!

I don't know if the LogoManager application could work with a 7650, but usually, the security code of a Nokia phone could be seen in that application. You just have to hook it up through IR.
just done hard reset now waiting for phone to come back on it s worked thanks but should i take it in for a firmware upgrade im 3,12

umm hello can I ask what a hard reset does?
It completely erases the phone and installs the OS again.
So the phone is exactly in same state as when you bought it.
can we just do it by ourselves? (HARD RESET) or do we have to go to NOKIA shop?
just like that..(after a HARD RESET) your fone will be back to its Orig state as when you have bought it? or do you have to format it, or install some apps or etc... ? :roll:

Yes you can do it yourself,type: *#7370#
Like Jyrik said,all data will be erased and the phone will be in the same state as it was when you bought it.
You will have to install al third party apps again.
