Hi, my e51 is product code 0560707 and firmware version is 220.34.37, I desperately need to upgrade to latest firmware. I have tried changing the product code (which I can successfuly do using NSS) but it still wont let me upgrade the firmware!
What can I do to resolve this?

I just succesfully installed a new firmware to my old E51.
The current version is now
410.34.001

I had to change the unit ID to the standard RM-244 Scandinavia ID for it to update but that was easily done with NSS.

The phone have had issues for some time now, consuming the battery in 6 hours or so, and failing to power on before that. I've tried a lot to get the phone back to normal, reinstalling firmwares and resetting the device etc.

If you can't update to the new version, try changing the ID to a standard ID for your region/country with NSS and try running the updater again.

I wish I had a head for this stuff.
