Due to the number of warez and the fast hacking (warez available after 1 day of game release) chances are that they won't complete Lemmings.

If my memory serves me correctly (which it doesn't always) 😃,i recall it was Symbianware who were meant to be developing this.I know their developers use this forum, maybe they can shed some light on the subject?

Yep, Lemmings production has stopped because of Warez issues.

WHAT?Does this mean that there are going to be no more applications for the 9210.Surely not.This would mean that devices such as the 7650,3650,p800 won't be able to applications released either.

Erm you'll find that it's the same problem on the 9210 and 7650 (moreso on the 7650 it seems). Apparently Astronix was cracked and free to download in a day after release, if people treated your software like that would you bother? As for making them harder to crack, they can't the whole notion of serial numbers based on IMEI is a math equation between the 2, in which case when someone has enough they can make a serial number generator. The only alternative so far would be to hard compile the app for each IMEI given, which takes more time for the software producer.

i think its the old problem.
everyone wants the newest software, but noone ist willing to pay for it.

and especially for phones the software has to be real small, so the crack-security-check has to be real small.. and then easier to crack 😞

i mean check your own phones, and the one who never had a cracked app should throw the first stone....

I would be willing to pay for every game developed. The problem is I am 16 years old and I don't have a way to buy them... What should I do? Look at the links and say no? Impossible I say that is impossible...

If anyone could help me I would be glad!

Johnny, have you ever bought a CD? A Book? A Magazine? If you want a piece of shareware that's around $10, then do something old fashioned and traditional. Save up for it. You look at the demo, and you decide, I want more of this, and you do what needs to be done.

What you've said above is an excuse at why you should steal someone else's work. And because of this, you've contributed to hurting Symbianware, the community, and a whole lot of people who would like high quality games.

You reap what you sow, and no matter what you say, Warez is not a victimless crime. :evil:

You are right Ewan-FreEPOC... they can save up for it.. normaly the software for 60 seriese is not expensive... It's just around $10...
But it's good when it's free... :fadein:
