Firmware v21, worth it?

I came here and asked about v20 when I saw it was out and you guys were right. The update was a huge improvement. The question I have now is if updating to v21 is really worth it.

Any remarkable things?

The big one is integrated Flash Lite in the browser so you can now watch YouTube clips from the YouTube page (and other similar flash content).
It is also supposedly more efficient on the battery.

Nope. Not worth it to me, dont watch youtube on youtube or enhanced flash enough to warrant the upgrade and resetting. Have no issues with battery life (unless Im hardcoring the wifi) and really dont have any bugs in effect. I'll make 'do' with v20 for now till I probably chop the phone in for whatevers next?

Why is everyone so obsessed by watching youtube videos in the browser when there are things like EmTube that do it better?

i just like the flash support in general.

i have noticed that my battery is now lasting a whole day and more without having to charge it.

Actually I was just giving that as an example. Most flash sites now work and that includes the BBC iPlayer!

Hmm, no offense but that poll is a bit unbalanced. I'm sure very few people would be unhappy with v21. A more relevant question might be "Was it worth the time/effort of upgrading?"

Oh, come on... barely. It still needs for the BBC Techs to make a specific version before it will be really watchable. I suspect that when they do that it will only work correctly with the new version. Until then, personally, I think the OP should stick with v20. I wish I had: would have saved me lots of work.

Haha, fair point. Other flash sites now work though. On the effort side of things, I was able to restore a backup without any problems so that saved time. Without that, I agree it wouldn't be worth the effort though

There appears to be nothing in it that would justify the monumental workload of reinstalling/reconfiguring everything.
I'd need an improvement of v.11 to v.20-esque proportions to contemplate that.

Just checked it couple of minutes ago after reading your post. EmTube still works for me..... Not sure what problem you have.

it works, but it won't find new videos that have been added to you tube.

try searching for the "balls to the wall" video by "hotforwords", i tried this yesterday because it's been added in the past few days, emtube doesn't find it.

or, just go on youtube.com and look for any recently added video, then try and find it on emtube.

i didn't realize there was a problem until it was said in this thread.

is this statement:

Media Player
* Localizations improvements in Music player.

helped anyhow in playing music in music player by folder, not by impossible to understand default sort/play by ID3 tag?
