What kind of appz do you need on your Nokia 7650?

Why don't you search the forums, you'll get a lot of application needed by users all over.

If you're going to create one, keep it small, nice, and cheap (or even better, free.)

IF you give me some keywords to look for THEN i can search... ELSE I don't know what to look for.

first you need to know... what you want to do with your 7650?

then... you will find and you can install the apps you need for it...

File Explorer it's an standard like every file explorer on a PC...

the second one would be a compression app.. like Staker or SDoubler...
to add mem...

then... you have a lot of apps that you can install depending on what you want to do and what services you want to use .. like Video software, Games, Web Browsing, etc...

Not looking for apps that he should install 😃

I would be interested of an app that can stream video via BT to another phone 😃
That would be cool/funny, but really hard to do I think.
It wouldnt need to record anything, just stream.

What about a simple (or better even: a not so simple 😉 ) texteditor and a DOC viewer. Think of cut and paste, edit and so on... Lots of my emails have DOCs attached :x At 99,5 % they are just simple text without any special formatting.

I would love to read them on my phone. It would be even better to be able to edit their content. Its enough to be able to send them back as simple ascii TXT files.

sometimes I dream of something like docs2go (software for palms) for series60.

ok here i have some ideas for new appz on 7650..

1. Universal TV Remote Control via Infra Red port... i know that PALMs have that... but why not on a 7650?

2. A Doris Brower Plug-In... or another Browser software that actually can SAVE files from any web page, and Download files function for links with .mid files .sis files .txt .... just SAVE AS... from any element from the web... like Internet Explorer (Save As... or Save Picture As... or Save Target as.. even save entire .html). In this way we can make our own web pages with files (pics, docs, apps, sounds, videos, etc.) that we want to access anytime, anywhere from 7650 thru GPRS with IAP.

3. A simple POP UP QWERTY KEYBOARD on Screen whenever we need on every app, with a cursor that we can move and type with joystick without open the slide keypad. Not like SOFTKEPAD App... COMPLETE QWERTY KEYS please! in one shot and another shot may be for symbols. And the two shortcut keys can have some frequent keys like DELETE or BACKSPACE and SPACE BAR in the other one. And you can turn on or off the T9 type if you want too. This is because not always is conffortable or easy to open the keypad with busy hands and type an email address for example 😮 (in that case the T9 simply don't work 😃 ) the better and easiest way is the QWERTY keybord, even PALMs have that option. And it's absurd to open the keypad and type letters to make a search of a name in contact list. The only thing that really need to open the slide keypad is when i will type a new phone that is not on contacts, or to take a picture with the cam. 8)

I�m asking for a app from long time ago. What i think it's missing is a chat via sms, like 3310/3330 have. We have programas with irc, msn messaging, chat via bluetoth, but we haven't it via sms! Is it ti hard to do some app like this?

What about app that can stream video via bluetooth from PC to Phone.
It would be similar to Jyrik's idea about streaming from phone to phone.

And maybe an app that can record video(Unlimited) and save the stream to PC,not phone.

Just copied and past thinks of most importance for me from an old thread of AAS:

Program for PC, that is able to control and backup all files, just like Nokia7650 is a removable storage drive (PCsuite sucks!)(=in other words PCsuite is not enough)

Also a program that it will give information like a signal meter in % style, battery's temprature, gprs banwidth meter/second,battery calculator (meening how much time it will last until the battery's going empty like the one Sony-Ericsson's mobiles have),cpu usage,etc....

But I think most of them are too hard to implement

i want a app that would prompt for a password everytime you open certain folders in the menu page. say i want to protect my games folder, so i select that folder with the app and add a password. a password must be supplied to open the folder. the lock phone default in the phone will not do because it locks the entire phone. i just want to limit other people opening certain folders and not the entire phone.

i have tried sCrypto and im not looking for anything like that - beside sCrypto encrypts files and not folders. sCrypto is a great app and may have use for a lot of people but it just isnt what im looking for.

could you cook this up, Mastix? :-?

In addition, why not through GPRS? Don't need to save the large files. After I press stop streaming, then nothing is saved on both phones. Of course there would be small temporary files. Just send one frame at a time.

well (repeating some ideas here),

synchronisation program to/from palm;
pop-up qwerty keyboard integrated into notes, e-mail at least (alejandro);
SHORT CUTS to get to the middle of an app without tens of joystick strokes;
Doc viewer (dieter)

All that's worth about 50 dollars to me!
