Listed below are the following countries that can purcase applications from Nokia Software Market Albania, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Botswana, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malawi, Malta, Mauritius, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Rep. of Moldova, Reunion, Romania, Russian Fed., Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Unit Arab Emirates, Yemen, Zimbabwe...

What the HELL??? Where's Malaysia and other countries??? We got Nokia here too dammit!!! U SUCKS BIGTIME!!!

Not that I haven't used the Software Market, but I do prefer to go to the developer's web site and use whatever payment scheme they use.

The reason for this is that I had much egg on my face after kicking up a fuss after discovering that TimeTool sends an SMS to the developer upon installation. If I'd checked the developer's website, I would have known that this would happen and I wouldn't have looked such a twit when I ranted on about privacy..... I mean, it isn't as if the developer had hidden the fact.

You get more specific information (at the moment) when you go to the developer.

I agree with Tanker on this one, i saw the whole thing, but I tried the s/w market a while back, only to find that you have to pay in Euro's. I bank with the biggest bank in the World! They can send me currency wherever i am on the planet and i can buy from American sites on line. But they can't handle euro's in europe! Wierd.Le bon marche.

I've been told that for countries that aren't supported directly by the Software Market you can ring up your local Nokia centre and arrange payment through them. Seems a bit covuluted to me though.

I recommend developers use both Software Markets and something like Handango (personally I prefer Handango) - you'll find out why soon User posted image

nik, i'd recommend Handango too, like Rafe above - can't believe Nokia expect UK users to pay in Euros when the UK doesn't use that currency yet!

I would'nt buy anything from Handango, as they have a 100% CRAP customer service record!

You guys shouldn't believe everything you read on the Internet User posted image

I live in the UK, but I did buy from the Nokia Software Market without problems.

How? Just enter an address from a country they accept (you can easily find one on the Internet) and voila, it works. You fill in the correct details for the credit card and e-mail of course.

Why did I bother doing it? On 3 programmes, each costing about 17-18 pounds I actually saved 10 pounds... which is a few minutes talk time User posted image

Good luck,

Arild
