Nokia N82 Product Codes

Where is the list of Nokia N82 product codes? It took me ages to find some on the web to update my phone.

I'd like to check the code I used, it should be for Euro 1, but after the update the strangest thing. My settings wizard failed to setup access points for my network (originally the phone had O2 firmware, I use Vodafone) and the right hand soft option key kept shortcut to the operator portal, which is still set to O2.

Of course, I can change that option no problem, it was just strange to still see some remnants of O2 settings on the phone. After the update the access points were still O2, I had to get the OTA settings sent from the Nokia website, as the settings wizard didn't work. I haven't had to do that for years!

It is because the N82 has UDR (User Data Preservation) when you upgrade the firmware on a N82 it no longer wipe the user data on the phone.

If you want to get rid of the O2 stuff you will need to do a *#7370# format, this will restore the proper Euro 1 firmware.
