Would be interested if anyone has had similar.
Phone went slow, took about 3 seconds to respond to each key press. Turned phone off. When I turned it back on the keypad lit up and every 4 seconds the screen flashed vriefly. This went on for about 30 seconds then the screen flash was at much longer intervals.
Took battery out
Put battery in.
Turned phone on, same thing.
Put phone on charge, nothing
Took battery out for a minute
Replaced battery
Turned on, same thing.
Left phone overnight.
In morning phone completely off.
Put charger in and phone sprang into life and is happy again.

Had a similar thing with my 9500 and Wayfinder. Wayfinder would crash and never work again until the battery had been taken out for at least 40 seconds.

Hi,

Same thing happened to my 9500 before, and the solution was to remove the battery. I had to play with the battery, i mean i had to put back, try to switch on then remove and so on. The problem disppeard after a software update.

On my E90 i didn't have that problem yet. Reflashing your firmware might solve the problem.

Cheers,

Will wait till the latest firmware is more "proven" before changing anything. Once in 4 months isn't too bad (compared to the 9500 which was about once a fortnight). O2 claim not have heard of the problem.

I am having some problems similar to your description, but I think that is about a lot of "beta" software I have installed in the phone.

I had a lot of problems with Conversation, from BetaLabs, and I am having a lot of problems with Maps 2 (if I didn't get a fix with GPS signal, E90 stops completely until I turn it off).

Can we find some common points?
