OK, so the N96 itself is a late prototype and some bits aren't working yet, but Cellulare Magazine (in Italy) have completed a ten minute video preview, thankfully in English, showing just about everything you need to know about this upcoming S60 flagship. Embedded below and well worth a watch!
Read on in the full article.
"thannkfully in english"............i wouldn't say so.
so...... in other words... skip this phone as it's basically the N95 still...
his accent is actually a lot more comprehensible than, say, a Geordie's
More importantly, what about the 6220 Classic in 10 minutes? 😊 - this will be a lot more significant handset in terms of numbers sold and furthering the Symbian/S60 installed base...

Fully agree, in fact we already have our 6220 booked, we'll bring you a review as soon as humanly possible. (That could take some time though, it's not out until the late summer...)
@eletrix:
How good is your Italian?
Everybody understands this english...
Nice post! Nice ilustration of the N96 funtionality...
@steilhopkins.
My italian is for sure better that my english.
@steilhoskins (sorry again)
i do understand everything.
It was just a joke meant to not offend anybody.
he got me excited for a second! he claimed that it has UK and USA 3G bands, then quoted the wrong bands by saying 2100 and 900, neither of which work here in the US on 3G. oh how i wish nokia would release this phone with US 3G. or at least, please just announce a US version in the pipeline. and for the love of god nokia, DO NOT sell this phone as a "US version" and then re-release another real US 3G version 6 months later. someone will firebomb your headquarters if you continue to do this lmao.
when is N96 coming out..?
some say june, some say august..i'm confuse and i can't wait!
Anyway..
N96 is a flagship that has yet to be launched. Im tired of hearing about phones in the "pre-marketing process" except as a curiosity. I feel in all honesty that when a product is on the shelf then its a reality. And even then customers end up waiting for fw updates. So there. No champagne!
6220 is a great phone for the masses. But how do you market a "number"?
Sifting through numerical phones series can be really tiresome. Thats why the "N" & "E" series catch the eye..
6220 couldve been (oh sorry.. it too isnt out yet 😛) an "N" or even a mini "E". 😉
I wok for a network and have been told the n96 has so many issues which is why its late! Last I heard was it not due out till Qtr3 but they even said they weren't going to hold their breath! Is it worth the wait?????? Probably not!
We are already one 3rd in "Qtr3" (it started on the first day of July, and ends the last day of September).
