Do they still do that?
I almost said that Orange should be able to tell you but then I realised how stupid that was!
I'm surprised they actually have any customers left.

Interesting! I just switched from Orange after 10 years.

Mainly because I am moving to a place with poor Orange sig but good O2 but another reason was their expensive tarrifs and especially their STUPID data tarrifs - I don't get why they don't get with the times like T-mob and O2?

I think they rely on people just staying with them as it's perceived as inconvenient to change (I know I did, was on a business account) but it has been pretty smooth with the number migrating within 2 or 3 working days and no downtime (apart from 30 mins when I couldn't send texts)

What does enhanced 2nd line do by the way?

By reading the previous posts I must say: "why don't you leave Orange?"

There are reasons why some people have not left Orange. These are ussually one of the following:
a) No reception on any other network
b) Orange care insurance (although this isn't as good as it used to be)
c) One of the lucky few that managed to get OWU data
d) Apathy

or

e) Second line - as Orange are, AFAIK, the only company to do this, if you need it then it's a pretty good reason to stay.

I didn't, I left for T a couple of years ago and now get Flext35 & W'n'W Plus for less than �21 a month.
