I got my first email containing a Word doc attachment today (have had the phone a week!)
Excitedly I opened it up expecting to see and edit the doc before forwarding to a colleague
The Word document contains line-art graphics / diagrams and just renders as a series of little boxes - RUBBISH!
So - just how good is the Word equivalent the E90 comes with?
(currently running Firmware 210.34.75)

Hi,
The word app in the E90 is licenced by Nokia from Quickoffice. Tgis soft is quiet good, but you can't do everything that you can do on a regular pc. Your version of Quickoffice depends also on yur phone's firmware, but you can upgrade anytime either from the phone itself or from the Quickoffice's website. However AFAIK the latest version still does not support all graphics but supports printing and office 2007 compatible.
Cheers,
I have Quickoffice 5 (I think the last) and it works fine!
I suggest you to send an e-mail to Quickoffice with the original word doc, and ask them to send you the version saved by Quickoffice 5... Like this you can check the change in the doc format.
