untrusted sw found in memory card after firmware upgrade!

Guys, just upgraded my phone to the latest firmware through pc suite. the firmware version is 4.0750.31.2.1 DT 15-12-2007 RM-133.
Now the process went smoothly and did a backup of phone before upgrading.
After upgrading, and restoring the back-up of phone files, the phone now tries to install a software from the memory card, and then gives a warning untrusted software found, go to application manager.
In application manager there is a software called:-
f020202f.sis (not installed) location:- memory card. filesize- 1kb.
Unable to remove it from app manger. also tried to delete it from memory card from file manager- which cannot delete it. 2 folders in memory card :-
f020202f
subfolder f020202f_00000000
error on deleting:- unable to delete E12367623E5CD.log/ unable to delete 0000000_0000.ctl

Now is this a virus? I don't have a card reader. do i have to format the memory card? Please help.

Thanx in advance

Not a virus. Bad application only. Connect the phone to a PC in USB mass storage mode, and delete the \private\f020202f subdirectory that way (turn on viewing hidden&system files).

False Alarm!
It turns out that the sis file was OGG player fonts, which I had installed on the memory card(as per the recommendations on the website-as N73 might have some issues with it if installed on the phone) prior to the firmware upgrade.... so installed it(taking risk!), when it gave me the same warning
Thanks for your inputs N/A, now I know to delete files which cannot be deleted by the phone file manager.
Regards
Sudipt😊

Usually if this happens when switching the phone on, its down to uninstalled apps in app manager, just remove them, and your phone will boot quicker.
