Different SMS-tones

Sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find any references to it.

Is there a way to choose different SMS -signals for different numbers (you know, the default beep-beep beep-beep -sound). I have a friend who gets a message from a certain number every time a fire has broken out. Would be nice to be able to distinguish between SMSes from this number and your average "hi, how are you" -messages.

From what I know I don't think that you are able to choose different sound SMS for a specific number...
I though that it would be interesting but I had no luck about it!
If you find anything let me know ok? User posted image

Hi...

I am new to this forum. Similar to the topic, I know we can assign different tones for incoming calls by assigning specific tone to a name in contact manager. Somehow, this setting does not always work. I have turned the Personal Tones to ON. Can anyone tell me where I did wrong? Or is this a bug in 9210?

Thanks....

There is a bug, it's called lack of memory. If you have lots of apps (or a few bigger apps open in the 9210 then there isn't always enough memory for it to load and play the WAV file for an incoming contact - and it then defaults to the nokia tune.
