Hi,
I recently bought the E51 and have already faced this problem quite frequently:frown::frown:.
Clicking on the menu key does not open the MENU it just keeps displaying the standby screen. the only option to get the menu key working again is to restart the phone.
In case any of you have faced this problem please help me with the solution, it would be really appreciated.
My software version is:
100.34.20

I solved my E51 Menu problem, by doing the following;
Go to;
Menu - Tools - Settings - General - Security - Phone and SIM Card - Keypad Autolock Period
Select "None" and OK.
Do the same for the next option, below. . . . "Phone autolock period". Select "None" and OK.
Red phone to exit.
This seems to have solved the problem of the Menu not being available, every now and then.
Let us know what you find.

I have the same issue and I tried your solution, but I still have the problem.
(I still use the manual keypad though)
any more suggestions?
