My N95 8Gb is getting in quite a bad way build quality wise so I want to replace it. I want much the same feature set especially modem mode as I use it as a modem for my Mac laptop. Other than the high SAR value would you say the N82 Black is the right replacement for this phone?

N82 should do for what you want if you want a change... in almost all ways what you're used to in a different form (plus that xenon flash of course!)
