Hi anybody had a problem when installing the latest version of Google Maps onto an Orange N95 on v13 firmware? It crashed during installation then the phone would not boot up and I had to get it replaced via Orange Care. I'm wary of trying to download it again, might just stick to Nokia Maps!

I had the same problem on my N95 8GB generic when I reinstalled Google Maps. Stupidly I reinstalled it over the old version. I then uninstalled the old version with Application Manager and loaded the new one with no problems.
i had problems with it too for it to brick your phone though jdushe is just unlucky as my problem was'nt that bad.
Maybe you needed to install a more upto date firmware cause i guess that most testing of new Apps is done on more newer firmwares.
V13 is a horrible 12 old firmware with more bugs than a rain forest lol

OK sounds like you need to remove the old version first as a precaution before installing Google Maps.
I would definately advise you to upgrade the firmware. v13 is pretty old and I'm sure Orange have released, at least, their version 20 by now which will improve things no end
