Hello,
I like to use my N95 8GB as wireless FM trasmitter to diliver my phone music in to my car stero I know i can buy after market FM transmiters and can hook it up with my phone and than transfer that but i am wondering if I can use my phone as wirless router using a software there got to be way to use this phone as a FM transmitter through software?? any idea thanks.

why kill your phone power doing that?

why not simply buy and attach a phono extrenal input lead to your car head unit, and just simply plug into handset everytime you get in the car?

Wifi and FM are very different so there is no way to transmit audio from your N95 using the Wifi technology. The only way is to use an FM transmitter like the one linked by tigerfox. You can transmit audio over bluetooth since the N95 supports A2DP but that requires a compatible bluetooth head unit.

i just plug my n95 into my car stereo with the headphone jack. its much better quality and it doesnt kill battery at all compared to any broadcast like bluetooth, wifi or FM transmit. but no, its not possible with the n95 to FM transmit.

I just get into my car and with 30seconds the radio kicks the music player off from where I last paused it 😉

Just get a cheap Bluetooth Head Unit or after market FM transmitter which plugs into the headphones port.
