I dont know how, but this month i have 10 of Data charge on my o2 online bill.

IS this anyway of geting around this? or even getting it cheaper from o2 ? Im sure i read a thread here a while back saying you can get your data charges for free or sommething... ?

Any advice, please let me know, thanks

get rid of o2, reading the various posts on this site, o2 data charges appear to be o2 customers main complaints, and mots of the time the customers dont even know how they got these charges

I have a web/data bolt-on with O2 and it costs me 7.50 a month. Had it for a while now and I've never gone over it yet.

Have look at the LOG application and check the Packet Data counters before and after using each application.
When the counters change you will know you which app is making a GPRS or 3G data connection.
You can then either configure the app not to use Network connections, or set it to "Always Ask".

What contract you on? Anything with 600 mins or more (which works out as 35/month or more) and you can get the Unlimited Web bolt-on for free!
