Yes, but only if you have the latest firmware-version (R2x). If so, there is an option in the second "tab", when you write a message

Hi everybody, I have P800 about 3 or 4 moth and now I managed, that I don't know, what does the small e-mail tab in sms messages mean... :-? And in the manual I didn't find it. If someone can help, please let me know. Thank you 😉

Email tab ? Do you mean the '@' ? You can add recipients and set the delivery report on.

Thank you Special,
but I have not the newest firmware. So how can I switch delivery reports ON ? I think I can't do that. And ricipients I can simply choose in the normal sms dialog. I simply don't know, why it's there this another dialog page with "@" sign as you wrote.

I use the P800 with the flip OFF... Does anyone know of a shortcut to enable silent mode? (no, I have to go into phone mode, edit>preference>sounds & alerts>silent)

I have Tracker installed, but i don't seem to be able to find anything that will allow me to change mode with one or two clicks.

Click on the speaker icon in the button of the screen, check the Silent Mode, that should do it 😉

While on GPRS my phone can't recieve voice calls! I am on Vodafone Aus but they assure me it is a limitation of the phone!

Does anyone else have this problem?

No! I had never actually tried this until three days ago. I was in a GPRS session when I got a call!

Besides, Vodafone is wrong, it's a GPRS Class B device, so it should interrupt your GPRS sesssion when you get a call, and resume the GPRS session afterwards (that's exactly what happened to me the other day...) :robot:

alright this is starting to peck head, with the opera browser (from SE's website) i empty it's cache, and it's still using up 900 kilobytes, i can't delete the files it's taking up, whatever they are, and opera won't let me ask a question without registereing, how f-ing gay

can i just delet the C:/Web/Saved pages folder? is this the folder taken by opera browser? i think the built in browser uses the C:/system/apps/browser/storage folder, can someone clarify this please?

still no sign of the p800 video recorder! any chance of it being out before i get bored and decide to sell my p800? ive only had it a month (if that) and its being to bore me already. ive tried just about every app and game on my-symbian and none of them have kept my attention for more than a day. are ETI the only developers in the process of making the video app??

you can also hold down "c" for about a second just like all the other ericsson phones 😊

You must set your gprs session mode to automatic (control panel, internet accounts, other tab, prefered mode to automatic ) to suspend the gprs account when recieving a call.
Otherwise you will get the phone icon with the crossed fone icon, indicating the call account is suspended while make a gprs call.

( it is a class B fone, which suspends GPRS accounts when recieving a call)

ok so now ive seen the site on sony for the p900 what about the software update to record video with me p800 any ideas costs will it be free i hope sony wil make it available to us p800 users

You're not doing anything wrong. The crappy email client doesn't support it.

I have been waiting for a decent email client since I bought my P800 14 months ago and I'm still waiting :frown:

Hello everyone. I just got my phone and I can't figure out how to transfer my mp3 files from my computer to the phone. All the connection software seems to let me do is to sync my address book from outlook. can anyone help?

I need to buy a device quick.

My criteria are the following:

1) World phone
2) Sync with Outlook 2003
3) MP3 player

The P800 has made my short list, but I am reading some horror stories of the sync with Outlook.

Has anyone had this resolved? Does Sony Ericsson PC Suite 3.1.1 help?
