A very well written review of the E51,Krisse.I am the very satisfied owner of an E51.Its well-built,stylish & very compact.
The major improvements over the 6120C are the:
- the thinness (its only 12mm compared to the 15mm of the 6120C,the 11g more weight does not bother me).
- WLAN,as you mention which in many case could be the deciding factor
- bigger capacity batter (1050mAh vs 890mAh in the 6120C)
- the stylish metal casing
- the one-touch short-cut buttons,I find them immensely useful
- the other benefit, though not mentioned in the review,is the 96mb RAM with around 48mb free after boot, compared to the 20mb odd free on the 6120C
The video-call camera of the 6120C & camera flash would be useful to have & the E51 camera has practically no settings compared to the 6120C & finally RotateMe/Landscape Pro does not run at all on the E51 for some reason, though it works on the 6120C,I believe.
The 2" screen is very good & is just about enough for everyday uses.
The phone runs very fast & goes about its business without any issue.
Well done Nokia,keep making more slim,"normal looking" S60 phones.
It's also very good value for money, 200 euros plus taxes for a Wi-Fi-equipped SIM-free S60 is a bargain.

Yes, I agree. These are the kind of phones that ordinary people dare to buy, and they're arguably more practical as everyday phones.
If a phone costs 600 euros and looks really expensive, that's not the kind of thing I'd dare use in public or take with me where it might get damaged.
